About Us
The Colorado Mountain Housing Coalition (CMHC) is led by a dedicated volunteer board of six members and supported by organizations across the state. The continued generosity and engagement of our members make it possible for us to provide vital housing resources throughout Colorado.

About CMHC
Since 2011, we’ve worked across Colorado’s mountain and rural communities to connect leaders, inform policy, and promote housing solutions suited to high-altitude, high-cost regions.
How We Work
Our mission is to empower mountain communities in Colorado with the resources, partnerships, and policy influence needed to achieve sustainable, affordable housing.
Connect & Collaborate — our network includes planners, nonprofits, local governments, developers, and community leaders
Research & Inform — we gather data, share best practices, and produce resources tailored for mountain settings
Advocate & Influence — we engage at local and state levels to drive policies that support equitable housing in mountain regions
Highlight & Promote — we showcase projects, innovations, and lessons from communities that succeed
